Between a Rock and a Divine Space An exhibition co – curated by the exhibiting artists - Zita Saffrette and Gill Newton Private View: PV Thursday 15th June 2017 6 -8 pm Show Dates: 12 - 6 pm Thursday 15th, Friday 16th, Saturday 17th and Monday 19th June 2017 (closed Sunday)

An exhibition of photographs, drawings and assemblages ‘Between a Rock and a Divine
Space’ brings two artists together and highlights their ongoing exploration of time and
timelessness, and the mutability of matter. This is the second exhibition in a series of coexhibitions
with the aim of exploring the artists’ interests around the idea of duration – in terms of the accretion of memory linked to the materiality of the world. The objective of the work is to find an intersection between the time(s) of lived experience and the body, and those of the objects encountered.

Zita is showing new cyanotypes and selected photographs using analogue processes.

Gill is showing drawings from her new series ‘sabotage - ode to susanna’ with relational
artworks drawn from everyday disregarded and discarded objects.
